Patton, Missouri · Age 87
Marilyn passed away peacefully on July 19, 2026. On June 14, 1954, she married the love of her life, Richard M. Shoemake, and together they built a life rooted in faith, family, hard work, and unconditional love.
She is lovingly remembered by her children. Her greatest joy was loving others — whether caring for her family, tending her garden, feeding her animals, or welcoming loved ones around her table with homemade meals and her famous yeast rolls. Marilyn lived a life of quiet kindness and unwavering love, and her memory will forever be a blessing to all who knew and loved her.
“Death will be no more.”
